MIKE McCORMICK

Mike McCormick is a six-time book author who has written a novel, a children’s book, and four volumes examining the scandals and crises emanating from the nation’s capital—events he witnessed up close and personal during fifteen years as an official White House stenographer serving under multiple presidents and vice presidents.

During his time at the White House, McCormick recorded and documented the words of presidents and vice presidents, traveling the globe aboard Air Force One and Air Force Two, both with and without the American press, while transcribing the official archival record. That extended firsthand experience inside the executive branch—often in proximity to decision-makers at moments of international consequence—has uniquely informed his writing on contemporary American politics, governance, and power.

In addition to his long-form work, McCormick regularly examines American political and media leadership through commentary informed by his direct experience observing how policy decisions, media narratives, and international crises intersect. His writing draws on years spent behind the scenes, where he witnessed how foreign governments, domestic politics, and personal ambition converge in ways that shape public outcomes far beyond Washington.

Mike lives in the Washington, D.C. metro area.
